Call me Betty

The life of a movie obsessed, action figure and thumb movie collecting, wanna be actor who's only been in one play, Wal-Mart working nerd is an interesting life. Really! Okay, maybe 20% of it

For future reference if I have a story to tell or something, I am going to give you the major players (and a few minor) in my life. Here they are:

The family

Leonard "Gus" Ellis (AKA Dad)- This is my Dad he's serious when he wants to be, but most of the time he's relaxed, almost too relaxed (zzzzzzzzz), and goofy as well. He's a definite salesman.

JoAnn Ellis(AKA Mom)- Mom is the voice of reason the more serious of the two, although when she gets goofy, she's hardcore :P I'm afraid she is where I've gotten some of the humor. The kind that get's shot down most of the time. But I still think is funny. :P

Lenny Ellis (AKA gkumba)- We are twins, seven years apart, he's probly one-third of the reason why I am a nerd. The other reasons are from genetics I think. I know for a fact that he's the reason I'm doing this blog right now. He's cool. But things are changing for him so you'll hear a little bit about it (i.e. Rachel from Australia). I'm excited about what comes of this.

Angela Mehl(AKA sister)- Ang has always been my most favorite accountant. She's probly the biggest voice of reason in the family. But like everyone else in the family, when she wants to she can get silly. In 2002, she got married, I'm still struggling to get used to that one. There is also another change happening for her but if I told you that one, I'd have to kill you, or hurt you in some way that would put you in a coma. With a rock... or... something...

Cherrie Vance(AKA eldest sibling)- Cherrie has always been like a sister to me. Well... I mean... She reminds me a lot of the folks, so she's gotta be my sister. :P My point is, she's about 33 now, when I was old enough to remember too much she was already moved out of the house. So I only go by the bloodtests and what others say. She's a very smiley person like Lenny(that's one difference me and my brother have). She's also a respiratory therapist turned massage therapist. She's been married for almost ten years now, in fact, I think it has been exactly ten years this year. I don't remember, I was just the ring bearer. Kinda like Frodo, only I had a pillow and two rings instead of one.

To be Continued...

Another day, another ounce of wisdom I have acquired.

Has a nice ring to it doesn't it? It just slips right off the tongue. Speaking of tongue, Ich habe sehr groB hunger! I just got the first season of Spider-Man(MTV version), the "New" animated series. What I wanna know is how many NEW animated series' can there be? Once you've gotten to the 10th one, is it really all that new? Don't get me wrong it's sweet, I mean it's gotta be, it was made by the same guys who did Reboot and Transformers.

I've been really doing some weird things in my sleep lately, one morning I woke up with my head on the opposite end of the bed. Then my roommate keeps telling me I'm talking in my sleep. I don't know what's going on.
Well anyway I better start writing about modern day families. Believe it's going to be fun.

And now it's time for the Kung Pow quote of the Day:
"So, you guys wanna go downtown?
We could grab a pizza or something...
Maybe even scam some chicks, cuz you know, I do like the ladies!"- Master Betty

Tired and bored

This will be my official time to write stuff down in my blog site. The only void I have between classes. I should be doing homework, but for those of you who know me, know that that is probly not going to happen anyway. A new member has joined this top notch team of one, Ellen Gould, she's a former school mate, I'm curious to see what she's going to write. (shameless plug) If I haven't told you already my bro has a blog site, as well, his is at www.gkumba.com.He writes a whole heck of a lot better than me and sometimes for the beatniks there's some poetry. Actually it all sounds like poetry. Believe me when I say it's mue bueno.

Now it's time for the Kung Pow quote of the day:

"It will be evil, it will be so evil that it will hurt a lot of people... that are good."
-Evil Betty

Well, it's the first day of school and right now, I am just waiting for the lunchroom to open. I just got done with Chemistry and getting ready for Human Growth and Development. I won't be done with classes until 5:00, Blech! Then, on to work. I hate Hutch Wal-Mart! The manager's walk around with something up their pitute all the time and it grates on everyone's nerves. Well, I can't really think of anything else to say. Hasn't been very exciting so far. But like everyday I guess I gotta make the best of it.

P.S. Long John Silvers rocks! Woo!

Advice from myself to myself

It's funny how easily you can forget some of the best advice, especially if it's from yourself. I was recently looking through my stuff in the midst of getting my room to move, I found a report I wrote for one of my college classes and something at the very end jumped out at me and here it is:

"My future, like any other's, is like a roll of film, with the right chemicals it'll come out beautiful and picturesque."

Simple and maybe a little cliche, but I need to remember this in every step I take and with every mistake I make. And no I didn't mean to rhyme.

This is my very first post and I'd just like to thank all the little people who inspired me to do this cause without you I wouldn't have anybody to say, "Well at least I'm not as short as them."
